Yearling Geldings, Yearling Mares, Yearling Longe Line, Hunter Under Saddle, 2
Year Old Western Pleasure, 3 Year Old Western Pleasure
Futurity Rules
Owners and Exhibitors must be International Buckskin Horse Association (IBHA)
and Mid America Buckskin Association of Indiana (MABA) members in good
standing. Weekend memberships are available for MABA. Horses must be IBHA
registered. Exceptions are made for weanlings who are not eligible for IBHA
registry, may be any color, provided one parent is IBHA registered. A photocopy of
parent’s IBHA papers must be provided if foal is not registered. MABA Futurity
horse must also enter corresponding IBHA class, both days of show (not included in
entry fee), except for non-registered weanlings. Copies of registration papers and
membership cards must accompany entry. Entries must show both days or be
disqualified.
Futurity Entry Fees
The entry fee is $50.00 for each horse per class entered by June 1. The fee for
entries postmarked after June 1st is $75.00. MABA weekend pass membership
fee is $15.00. Yearly MABA Membership is $20.00 - add $5.00 after March 1.
Futurity Payback
Seventy five percent (75%) of entry fees will be paid to five (5) places with an award
to first place. Four judge average, one tie breaker judge.
